Looking for the perfect truck for your trip up North this Winter? The 2017 Toyota Tundra is built to take whatever you throw at it. Toyota has been building trucks for over 80 years, and the Tundra is world renown for its durability and strength. It joins the over 90 percent of Tundras built in the last 15 years which are still on the road!

Tundra was designed with the American consumer in mind, with styling done in California and Michigan, and assembled in Texas. You can choose from one of six model trims; SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, and TRD Pro.

Tundra starts with a strong steel frame, then adds an impressive power plant to provide excellent hauling or towing capability. Then they add 4-piston front brake calipers for positive braking control with a heavy load or trailer on the back. Torque provided by the available i-FORCE 5.7 liter V-8 is managed with a massive ring gear in the rear differential. This allows the use of a 4.3 rear axle ratio to take advantage of the 401 lb-ft of torque. If you don’t need the 381 horsepower available from the 5.7 liter engine, you can opt for a 4.6 liter V-8 developing 310 horsepower and 327 lb-ft of torque with the 6-speed automatic transmission. Tundra also uses an automatic limited-slip differential to provide power to selective wheels to give you maximum traction. Tundra is designed to haul with a high-strength receiver, combination meter to monitor engine functions, and an integrated 4/7 pin electrical connector.

Inside the 2017 Tundra, you will have room to stretch out and enjoy the comfort of the finely stitched seats, driver-centered controls, and available features like Platinum or Limited premium seating materials, power seat controls, heated front seats, and premium Entune® audio systems. Dual-zone climate control is available, as well as a standard integrated backup camera, available integrated navigation, customizable multi-information display in the gauge cluster directly ahead of the driver, standard fold-up rear seats, and a generous center console.

Exterior features include a choice of three cargo bed lengths, a tailgate that opens or closes with a couple of fingers and locks for added security when a tonneau cover or shell are added, and an available deck rail system for securing cargo in the bed. You also get a choice of wheel designs based on model trim.

Safety features include an available blind-spot monitor with cross-traffic alert and Toyota’s Star Safety System™ including vehicle stability and traction control, brake assist, anti-lock brakes, Smart Stop Technology™, and electronic brake force distribution. Eight airbags protect all passengers in a collision from front or side.
