2018 Toyota Camry Engine Power & Performance
The new 2.5L 4-cylinder Dynamic Force engine shows a big leap forward in abilities by delivering 203 horsepower compared to the previous year’s model, which maxed out at 178 horsepower. The newly updated hybrid engine option also shows a jump in net horsepower. The newest, and perhaps most exciting, addition to the vehicle is the versatile 8-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission.
Updated Features & Technology
Drivers of the Toyota Camry thoroughly enjoyed the ease and convenience of the Entune™ system for its easy access to the media options. The 2018 Toyota Camry will feature the Entune™ 3.0 multimedia bundle, which will offer a new interface with quicker response. This upgraded infotainment system will also come standard with the Connected Navigation Scout® GPS Link app, providing drivers with the directions they need to get to their destination with ease.
New Design Implementations
The new Toyota Camry includes the Toyota New Global Architecture, which aims to reform the structure of the vehicle that’ll make it more sporty, dynamic, and fun. The wheelbase was extended by two inches while bringing the roof and hood down slightly. This new structure reform provides a more ideal seating positioning for the driver. The dashboard and steering wheel were also lowered to give the driver a more enhanced view of the road ahead.

Toyota Safety Sense™ P
Toyota Safety Sense™ P is a bundle of driver-assisting technology features that are available at the base level, providing drivers with the sophisticated assistance to add ease and safety to their driving. This bundle includes the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian
Detection, giving drivers enough time to stop the vehicle when a crash is imminent. The Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist provides extra control when you’re veering off your path. Of course, this bundle also includes the Full-Speed Range Dynamic Cruise Control, a system that automatically accelerates for you without you having to intervene when traffic slows down, because the system will keep the safe distance that you set.
