2019 Toyota Avalon Review
The Avalon has long been a powerful midsize sedan with plenty of power, technology, and style over the competition. So, how will that all hold up in the latest iteration?
Doral, Miami, Kendall, and Hialeah drivers can learn about the features of the 2019 Toyota Avalon by reading this review from the Doral Toyota team.
2019 Toyota Avalon Redesign and Updates
The first time you spy the new 2019 Avalon, you’re sure to notice its sleeker design right away. A couple things have occurred to streamline the exterior design of previous generations.
First and foremost, the Avalon rolls in with a lower and wider stance for the 2019 year. Lowered sedans are all the rage for speedsters, and the new Avalon really emphasizes that look.
The grille is extra wide, defined from aerodynamic vents on either side. Above, the strong character lines fan outwards, blending with slim, winged headlights that really create the appearance of a car that’s about to fly down the street.
2019 Toyota Avalon Specs
Underscoring that aerodynamic build is a powertrain that was designed with a bit of extra oomph.
The Avalon comes standard with 3.5L V6 engine that is capable of producing as much as 301 horsepower. With all those horses under the hood, your sedan will have the get-up-and-go necessary to charge along the highway.
This engine is paired with a dynamic Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Even when you’re driving fast, you don’t have to worry about the little bumps in the road putting a kink in things. AVS will smooth out your ride for continued comfort.
The 2019 Toyota Avalon comes with two different kinds of cabin technology. First, there’s the infotainment. Then, there’s the safety.
In terms of the former, you’ll have standard Entune™ 3.0 with your car. This includes Apple CarPlay™ compatibility, which allows you to integrate your phone and pull up your favorite apps on the touchscreen.
New to this suite, you’ll also have Apple Watch® and Android™ Smartwatch compatibility. You’ll be able to access select vehicle controls from your watch, such as firing up the engine with a press of your finger.
Next, you’ll have the standard Toyota Safety Sense™ P (TSS-P) features working to predict when a collision will occur, and act autonomously to prevent them from happening. Features include:
- Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
- Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
- Automatic High Beams
- Back Guide Monitor
There are even more helpful safety features that come with the 2019 Avalon. And they’re all included in the base trim, so peace of mind is always assured.
